Good beginner book. This gardening book is good for the beginner gardener. And gives good month by month guidance. However, when the climates are broken down into cold, moderate and tropical, I think our definitions of cold climate differs. There was nothing in this book to advise me during my winters with a foot or more of snow. Plus, I wish there were at least some pictures, especially of what a “cloches” looks like. But still a great book for beginners who live in warm cold climates or warmer
