This is a very charming mystery with a likeable cast and a great setting. I liked Maggie right away and her embracing the opportunity to return to a place that had (mostly) happy memories from her childhood when her life blew up. There are newly-refound friendships and some old animosities and characters that were quirky without being over the top. I particularly liked how investigating the unexpected murder of one of the least-liked people on the island lead to the discovery of sordid details o
Wow! Such a good mystery. Even though I started this book not expecting to like it that much, I loved it. In fact, I just bought the next one. One thing I would like to see is a book showing when she lived in the U.S. and worked as a cop.
