A cover and blurb that sucked me in. The characters were fairly predictable but overall a great story. My Rating: 4 stars
Prelude to the Shards is a set of three prequel novellas that take place in Michael Timmins' Shards of the Coven series. Each story is about a different set of characters who come from vastly different places and cultures but who are all a part of the same world. These three stories seem to come directly before the first book and give backgrounds for the main characters of the series.
