Description

Evelyn Remington doesn’t believe in magic . . . even when her entire world is suddenly turned upside down. After visiting a tarot card reader at a popular renaissance fair, she and her group of friends are suddenly transported to another time and dimension; to a kingdom ruled by creatures only believed to exist in fairy tales. Labelled “wayfarers,” Evelyn and her friends must learn to carve out a new existence in the Kingdom of Eteryn. She doesn’t believe it when she is told there is no way back. While learning to fit in and make ends meet, Evelyn is befriended by the king’s daughter, Princess Emeley, who believes that she may hold the key to defeating the terrifying evil Queen Hadreah who wants Eteryn for herself. When Princess Emeley’s brother, Prince Eythan, returns from war, Evelyn’s unexplained attraction to him endangers her life and strains her relationship with her friends. Although she cannot explain many of the things she has seen in Eteryn, she holds to her belief that there is no such thing as magic. Evelyn finds herself entangled in a plot to defeat Queen Hadreah and is torn between her desire to help Princess Emeley save the kingdom and find a way to return home with her friends. With enemies, fear, and doubt surrounding her, Evelyn must choose between love, trust, and loyalty on the night of the twilight star.

Waw This book is amazing! From the start we as the readers are sucked in to Evelyn's life and as the book progresses we love her more, this book is magic, love, real life struggles and other worldly struggles all rolled in too one! Evelyn and Eythan's love journey is so good I didn't want to put this book down for a second! I hope the author of this book writes a second book for this one because I want more!!!

Vampires , human, and witches This is a story about travel through a portal to a medieval kingdom by 9 unsuspecting young adults who were enjoying a Renaissance Faire.I was intrigued by the twists and turns, the descriptions of the clothing and culture, and the connections made with in the story. As a grammar nerd, I wanted to edit a great number of wrong homonyms and missing words, as well as one of my pet peeves concerning the use of I when it should have been ME!
