Shepherds of the Lost: Family Secrets, written by Joseph and Leigh Renzi, is about a young girl named Vidia. She lived in a town called Foggy Hollows, which is considered a strange place due to the unusual things that take place there. Read this through once myself and enjoyed it and now reading it with my kids! Even though the book has creepy parts that's great for the Halloween season, there is a lot more to the plot. It's a "good vs evil" story based in reality, but also introduces a new supernatural world just beyond ours. Also sets the stage for more books to come with the supernatural world created. My kids are enjoying it so far. Would recommend!
Shepherds of the Lost: Family Secrets is definitely a good read. The story triggers one's imagination as the reader encounters the various characters in conjunction with mysterious current and past events. As the tale unfolds, the personalities of the parents and children are developed well, and I found myself especially rooting for the children to prevail. The gripping plot keeps you guessing about what will happen next. The storyline is set for a sequel which I surely will read.
