Wow this book was amazing. Declan and Eliza had an immediate bond that they were able to use to protect and save the island. They were betrayed by one of their own who sacrificed himself to complete a goal of such terrible proportions. They fought back against the betrayer and with all the supernaturals on the island they were able to seal the evil back behind the protections set in place by their ancestors.I received this ARC from the author for free and I am leaving this review voluntarily

Absolutely captivating, the prequel had hooked me, but this really pulled me in. This is an excellent start to what I feel will be an awesome series. It's unique in many ways. I liked both of the main characters. Declan, alpha of the wolves. He has many secrets and skills that will come in handy with the evil they have to face. He knew Eliza was his mate the moment she stepped foot on the island. I loved Eliza. What she went through to be accepted by the residents on the island was intriguing, especially since she was an "outsider " and a journalist. She is smart, compassion
