I really enjoyed the author’s last book, “Why Choose” and was looking forward to this one. But I’m sorry to say it fell really flat for me. There was little introduction to the characters beyond the superficial and so much about it that either wasn’t realistic or didn’t make sense. And there were a lot of continuity errors, too. (Even the cover is wrong. Amanda is supposed to be a print journalist, not a tv reporter with a mic.) It felt like the author didn’t want to do the work of creating more
