Kidnapping, Terror, Fae Folk, Seers, Family, Romance:A tremendously hard book to review but I tried my best.A horrifying beginning had me shuddering from the first page where most of the plot is disclosed. This is a deeply traumatic emotional story along with a budding romance that captured my heart.Lennox has a mission of finding the kidnapped children before they are lost forever. He is well aware of the danger the young ones are in since he had the same nightmarish experience as a young child
This is the story of Lennox, Chieftain of Clan MacVey, and Meg Beaton. I totally fell in love with this book, Lennox and Meg, and the children!! I literally couldn't put it down. I started it late in the evening and made myself stop at 2 am, and finished today. Children from each of the 4 clans were abducted. All 4 clans banded together to find who took them. I loved how this author incorporated the different characters points of view in this story. It's certainly not a cookie cutter - very unique with some paranormal thrown in to keep you on your toes. You never knew where that part of the story would take you.This couple worked and I felt a connection to them from the start.
