I do currently take one medication for my cholesterol because I am literally allergic to all others, including statins. I am looking to lower cholesterol through diet and exercise. This book seems helpful. Also, the book on Osteoporosis. I will combine the diets to make this work. More protein and fiber appear to be key. I've been on a new eating schedule for a week and I'm down 8 pounds. Good luck to all who try this. I have my numbers rechecked in a few months.
