You need to read this book! Listen, you are going to cry and you are going to see both the good and bad of humanity. I loved seeing each person's story and how each one ended up at the dog park. Becky had all my compassion. Choco had my whole heart. Tommy was adorable. I loved every character... well, except for one. But I won't give any spoilers. Have your tissues at the ready and snuggle in to meet some furry four-legged friends with their owners.
A difficult read due to domestic violence but there were engaging characters, similar to the ones I meet in the dog park here in Albuquerque! The ending is satisfying too!
Amazing book. Loved the bonding and trust developed between the characters. Really brings home you never know what someone is going through. Small acts of kindness lead to trust and healing. A true illustration of how your pets not only bring healing to you but bring a community together. Finished in an afternoon as it was too good to put down
