Not all tragedies can be avoided.The rules for how ghosts behave in this world intrigued me. Somehow they knew exactly what they could and couldn’t do from the beginning without anyone explaining it to them. There were a few logical hints about how they came to this knowledge, but I think it’s best to leave the logistics of it for other readers to figure out for themselves. Short curious horror. I received this from the author at no charge. I enjoyed this very short story. It was a change from too many sweet stories.It starts as a regular train ride, but it takes an unexpected turn. This is tagged as horror, but not so scary. I’ve read scarier that weren’t supposed to be horror. It’s short and certainly was worth my time to try a new author. Complete story without cliffhangers. New Zealand author if anyone needs that for a book bingo or other challenge.
