Alright. ⭐⭐.✨I was given an ARC to review, so thank you to Dean for that! With this being said, the rating is NOT a writing issue. These are 5 short stories set in an epic fantasy world. I was left wanting more time to connect with the characters but wasn't able to. Right when they were getting interesting, you'd be moving on to the next. Then at the end of each short story there was an author's note that sort of pulled me out of the beautiful world the author has created. I am going to definite
A fresh new look for epic fantasy, Dean Kastle writes five gritty short stories with creative plot twists, fully developed characters and a clever world building of Eria throughout these stories. The fight scenes are unique to each story. I would love to read this as a full novel. I definitely recommend reading this book.
