This story is mostly based around one of the FMC Mason. I enjoyed the emotional trauma each of the characters had and the developments as they each grew. Now this is only the start and there are lots more healing and things to unfold. I felt deeply for Mason and the mental issues she has. I can relate to some of them making me wish I could climb in the book and be part of her world. The verdict is still out on Sebastian. This was dark, chaotic and follows an extremely messy polycule, who all have a lot of issues, but all need each other. It took me a while to connect with Mason, and the way she bounced from person to person as an escape, but not really letting herself feel or think about their side. Once you understand her mental health trauma, it was easier to see why she acts like she does and her vulnerabilities.
