A Good StoryI enjoyed this enemies to lovers romance. Duke Blake did not want to marry at all. Jane was in her fourth season and was getting worried that she would be a spinster. Whenever she met Blake they argued but I loved the banter between them. Jane felt unloved and misunderstood and was reluctant to accept that Blake liked her. He was called Blake the Rake and she thought he was trying to live up to that name. Gradually their antagonism softened but there was someone who did not want Blak
I enjoyed Blake & Janes connection, they had similar doubt in they mind & both help the other & the way they were unable to stay away & continued to challenge one another was fun to read. It was definitely a slow burn. I found the Blake The Rake thing frustrating, & off putting, in one breath he would say he wasn't a rake & then the next he would say he was, it mostly seem like he wasn't, but the back & forth was a bit of a problem & I'm not a fan of rakes.
