I loved meeting this author at a vendor event! She was kind and eager to talk about her books. This read is a cozy, light hearted mystery with a tiny bit of romance. I’m a huge romance lover myself and would have loved to see that play more of a role, but that is more attributable to my personal preference. The writing is fun and easy to follow! The twists were intriguing and I can honestly say I’ll be reading the second book! Maybe there will be some romance development in those!

Meet the writer at LA's Vegas reader nation. And bought this and the second book. I really enjoyed this book. If you want a a cozy mystery give this a try!

Needs an editor It’s sad when an author can’t keep track of things like lost and found gloves. There were way too many tea breaks. I don’t recall ever reading a story where making, brewing, serving or drinking tea was practically on every other page. Some things were never resolved. Character characteristics were not disclosed until the last quarter of the book. Hire an editor for the next book.
