Kennedy Dawes knew her perfect partner was out there…but she was beginning to wonder if he was playing hide and seek in camouflage in the woods because she sure as hell couldn’t find him. After years of being signed up to every matchmaking site known to man, speed dating, getting set up by well-meaning (if somewhat delusional) friends and family, and even applying for the reality TV show Fairytale Love to find her prince charming, she was starting to lose hope. On the advice of her therapist, she’d written down—in excruciating detail—everything she was looking for in an attempt to manifest her Mr. Right. There was just one problem—she couldn’t get Mr. Wrong out of her mind.Sebastian Savage had one true love…tattooing. Unfortunately, he’d lost that love six months ago and wasn’t sure he’d ever get it back. After waking up in the hospital after a car crash he couldn’t remember, Seb was told by doctors he had a long road to recovery in front of him, which included surgery and physical therapy. Even then, there was a chance his nerve damage would be permanent. That was a life sentence for Seb. Being a tattoo artist wasn’t just a job, a career, or even a passion; it was his life. The only thing that had ever mattered to him was putting ink to skin. He needed it more than oxygen. Or at least he had until his heart started beating again when he looked into blue eyes that were a beacon in the storm of his life. There was just one problem: He wasn’t the man she deserved, and he’d be damned if he let her settle.Author’s Note: Crashing Into You is a love-at-first-sight, opposites attract, don’t-want-to-want-you, best friend’s brother-in-law, small-town, steamy romance. This journey to happily-ever-after is the tale of a damaged tattooed MC, a type-A hopeless romantic FMC, a gassy rescue dog, a trio of senior citizen cupids, and a crotch-dampening meet-cute. There is off-the-charts chemistry, I Love Lucy-esque slapstick comedy, sugary-sweet swooniness, sweat-inducing steaminess, and, of course, a heartwarming HEA.
Author's Note: Crashing Into You is a love-at-first-sight, opposites attract, don't-want-to-want-you, best friend's brother-in-law, small-town, steamy romance. That about completely sums this story up. I guess the morale of this story is that you can be all wrong for each other on paper but incredible sexual chemistry can heal all wounds and make all the pieces that shouldn’t fit together, fit just right. The story opens with our female protagonist Kennedy Dawes at her regular therapy session wit
Kennedy and Seb were PERFECT! The 100 item list was YIKES, but it actually pretty spot on. Seb was carrying a heavy burden after his accident, but Kennedy ended up being the remedy he needed. Their story was awesome, and I couldn’t put it down.
Love Seb and Kennedy but not my favorite book This one was hard to review. There were lots of things I liked about the book, but I didn’t love it. First, the “likes” - I loved Seb and Kennedy. They had chemistry and I enjoyed the lead into their story. I also liked how we got to see the overall story of the other Savages move forward as Seb’s was told. Unfortunately, there were elements of the story that hindered my enjoyment. The biggest issue for me was the amount of internal dialogue. A larg
