As a Sapphic woman in the age bracket of the lead characters albeit not as highly educated as Robyn and Christina, I found it refreshing and totally relatable. It’s difficult to find novels with characters in their "golden" years. We're still out there and have the same desires and sense of humor that we did 50 years ago.
