Overcoming trauma.“Detoxify trauma” sums up the beginning of this book nicely. Seeking help seems important in a toxic relationship and is a necessity. Therapy is essential too. Giving yourself space to recover is important too. The cycle of abuse is looked at.Keeping records seems important. Finances are looked at. The importance of setting budgets is examined. Aspects to a break-up are looked at; staying single, looking after self, allowing nature in, keeping a pet, going out and volunteering.
