This is quite a tragic story really, the key character being Jeremiah. He is outcasted at school and feels invisible since none of the other kids at school want to be his friend and the teachers don't seem to care. It doesn't stop there as Croot mixes in negligent parents as well. The story is told from the point of view of Jeremiah when he's at school and also when he's older in his 50s and he's never really gotten over being a lonely school boy. paranormal - not a romance I will start by saying I don’t read this genre so I’m probably not the best person to review it. I was told it was a romance. It’s 100 percent NOT a romance.
