Loup Ausdernacht isn’t fully human. He’s not fully beast, either – but that’s about to change. Most of the time, he can control the incessant battle for dominance between his human and wolf sides. Every seven years, though, on the night of the full hunter's moon, he turns into an uncontrollable, bloodthirsty monster.Seven years ago, he killed the love of his life while in his werewolf form. Since then, he’s isolated himself in the woods and barely interacts with humans except to get alcohol from a nearby town. Now, just a week before the transformation is due to happen once more, he’s determined to stop it by any means possible.
If you love werewolves, read this.I love werewolf horror books, and this one caught my attention immediately. I loved the character development and the gripping storyline. It wasn't your normal, if I could call anything normal about werewolves, but I loved the way it kept getting better and better. If I could say one thing about this book, I would say don't hesitate to read it if you love the werewolf genre.
Decent storyNot a bad story, needed a bit more to be honest, but it's a quick read. One thing as with other werewolf stories I've read, the author uses "upwind" incorrectly in one paragraph, then correctly shortly after. It's not a difficult conceot, but no ine gets it right.
Lots of suspense and I had no idea how it would turn out.
