Will she be able to solve the mystery of her supernatural stalker, or will she fall to the waves of the haunted seaside town of Reymouth?Seagulls and Seances is a paranoid, haunting paranormal mystery with an acidic wit. It is the first part of the Reymouth Trilogy.
Great FunI really enjoyed this book. Itβs hard to describe. Part horror comedy, part family drama, part cosmic horror, all parts entertaining. I loved the depiction of Reymouth and the corner shop, the high street, all the little small seaside town elements that rang so true, despite the weird things going on. Claire is a great character. I loved seeing the mixture of the person she was as a child, spending her summer holidays in Reymouth, and the adult Claire who is a successful professional. T
Monty Pythonβs Twin Peaks; this bizarre and engaging world is unlike any other. I wasnβt entirely sure how I felt about this for the first few chapters, but once the world pulls you in, youβre truly in. Silly, surreal, and thoroughly British, this book is truly a fresh experience told through such a distinct and unique voice. It wonβt be for everyone, but I think itβs well worth at least dipping your toe into this world and spending a night in this town. The writing is surprisingly dialogue cent
