Vermont school teachers, Gladys and Frank Sutter decide to take on a new summer job as caretakers for a large vintage home located in Maine. Hessler has crafted a haunting tale that will thrill readers of all ages. Highly recommended!
Celest Hessler is one of my favorite authors. From the first book I read about Clara and her haunted violin, I became a fan, and I would strongly recommend this to people of any age. If you are or have been a violin student or simply love music, this is a must read. I highly recommend it!
A couple get a job cleaning up an old house while the owners are away. They discover a room on the second floor that is only accessible by ladder. It has a dollhouse inside and the man hears voices. Two children died while living t he house and their spirits still linger.
