Reader Reviews

★★★★Clay Davis

A nice story about friendship and romance.

OverwrittenThe idea for the book is good but it’s so overwritten. Whenever the author had a choice between a simple word and a complicated one he chose the latter. Words like “portend,” “surmised,” and “consumptive” are irritating, as are awkward contractions like “there’re.” It was difficult to get through and I only skimmed the last half. I can’t recommend it.

Childhood friends growing upI loved The Nimmy Nimmy Dance! It starts with 4 young friends who were separated because one of their families moved away. After over 20 years, because of an accident, they were reunited. It was fun seeing them reconnect and have happy endings in their lives. This is the first I have read Tom Geier. I'll look forward to more of his books!
