What do you do when you think you're cursed? How do you remain optimistic when tragedy and pain are around every corner and you're forced to carry the sins of your mother? Do you give up and become exactly who everyone assumes you will be? Or do you prove everyone wrong, including yourself and overcome it all? These are the questions Tisha and Terricka Lewis ask themselves every day as they face abuse and humiliation all because of the sins of their mother. Come on this emotional roller coaster with the Lewis sisters and find out whether the sins of a mother can be visited upon her child.

Denise is the most evil mother I've ever encountered in a book. Her vile actions caused her daughters & son nothing but pain & grief....She is the poster child for mental illness! Niki Jilvontae did a superb job with her writing by making me feel the girls torment & suffering. This book was well written with a captivating & devastating storyline that had my emotions all over the place.. Jerrod & Mrs. Cunningham were lifesavers to these kids. I'm hoping Denise's madness will soon be put to rest a

My goodness! The horror thee girls went through at the hands of their mother was sickening! Just horrible! I felt sooooooooo bad for all 3 kids but the girls got the worst of it for sure. I don't understand why they didn't run away or seek help. Good book if you can stomach reading about gruesome rapes or beatings.

Omg let me start off by saying this was a very good book. This book was so emotional it took me there trust on on that. That mother was no mother she was the damn devil. I must commend her kids for sticking together no matter what. The life those kids had to live is a damn shame I know that mother had something wrong with her but got damn enough is enough. Now on to part 2. This book is a must read trust me on that
