Parrot Head Filled MysteryAs a long time fan of Jimmy Buffett, it was the title of this mystery that caught my eye and made me purchase it. Using song lyrics as directional messages, Cindy Davis weaves them into a wonderful mystery, artfully written and crafted, and filled with great characters. Our protagonist, Joy, is running from something, we aren’t allowed to now just what. Little smatterings of info is dripped out, making the story even more interesting. All the while trying to figure out
Say It With Me Vociferous I had to look up the word repeated so often in the book (21 times). This was a cool paranormal mystery. There’s a ghost, auras and a mystical force using Jimmy Buffet lyrics to warn the main character Joy. I liked the quirky supporting characters including a colorful toucan. The mystery had me going until the end. There’s also the mystery of Joy herself. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
