I ended up dnfing this book around 50%. The concept for the story is amazing. I love a good retelling and I was excited about where the story could go. My only issue was when the main characters finally met. The entire week she was with him before the wedding, we don’t get to see many interactions between them. 3.5⭐️Keeper of Souls was a wonderful debut novel from Raven Stevens! She is also such a lovely human- I had the honor of meeting her last year. I fell in love with this book. I found this author by TikTok and immediately ordered this book. The two characters are amazing and while I knew that it was based on Greek Mythology, I am sad to say it took me a while to realize it was A re-telling of Hades/Persephone. I normally pride myself at figuring out the "villain" and the catches of a story but It wasn't until he said "I Am the king of the underworld" that it clicked into place. -- Can we also please ignore the fact that on the back cover
