I lost my grandmother. Then I lost my job.So naturally, I booked a one-way ticket to Ireland.Grief makes you do things. Spontaneous, slightly reckless, what-am-I-doing things. But standing in a tiny village I can barely pronounce, breathing in air that smells like rain and possibility, I feel something I haven't in months.Alive.Then my car breaks down. And Conor Doherty shows up.He's warm where I'm wired. Patient where I'm restless. Rooted in this soft, green corner of the world in a way I've never been rooted anywhere. And he looks at me like I'm not as lost as I feel.I tell myself it's just a fling before I return to real life. But Conor isn't a detour kind of man. Then I took off my jacket which I set on the couch.β We donβt need to know all this deta
I really enjoyed this. It was sweet, but it wasn't boring. (And it has some pretty good steamy parts!) Ruby Devlin lived for her job, to what she felt was the detriment of every other relationship...including her relationship with her beloved Gran. She's always planned to take Gran to Ireland, but she never took the time away from work. After Gran passed away, Ruby decided to finally take the trip. Instead of her usual meticulous planning, Ruby decides to play everything by ear...and unforseen c
