Description

There was Butch & Sundance and Bonnie & Clyde… Then there was Pack & Elliott; two wayward tricksters who have run out of time. The American frontier, after the turn of the century, is a place of increasing change. The loose and wild ways of the Old West are being pushed aside by, what some consider, a more modern mentality. Happening upon a windfall of stolen money, partners Pack Stevens and Elliott Wayne have to decide whether to turn in the loot for the reward, or take it on the run. With the questionable loyalty of old friends and a posse, hot on their trail, life and times seem simpler under Mexico skies…

Reader Reviews

★★★★Richard

A lot of action. A very good story with lots of action. There’s not much character development, just what takes place at the time. Just a group of missed place people without an idea what life is about. A easy read and quick.

I received a complimentary electronic copy of this historical western from Hello Books nad the author Eric H. Heisner. Thank you all for sharing your hard work with me. I will read this novel of my own volition, and my review will reflect my honest opinion of this work.

★★★★Fran Burdsall

This is best described as a knock-'em-down, shoot-'em-up, cowboys & indians made for TV movie in a book. There is the strong, sexy female lead and her devastingly hansome male partner, the old cow-hand and a cast of bad guys and odd guys. Not Pulitzer prize material, but a fun, action-packed read.
