4/5 starsRight away the book starts off in tragedy which hurts your heart a little bit, but it is a necessary part to giving some background information of Carrie, the MFC(main female character) and setting the tone for the reveal of her life since then and to her journey along the way. There are also some other hardships, romance, comedy and growth. Nice light read, definitely a far cry from my usual. The story starts out fast and stays steady. The spice was pretty basic but present. It's probably a little too prominent for the vibe of the book and how very basic it is. I really liked the characters, but I would have liked to see a little more depth. The plot/ storyline was good, but I do think there could have been a little more angst and drama. All in all, I enjoyed reading it. If the side characters get their own books, there is a good c
Never Needing is a love story with some sinister elements. The main characters are both likable and flawed. It is altogether an enjoyable read. This was a Goodreads Giveaway; thanks to the publisher/ author for gifting this book.
