*3.5Overall, this book was enjoyable! It got into the action quickly, and the middle dragged a little but it picked up toward the end. This novel features the main character, Ena, who is forced to leave her home after it’s razed by soldiers and chooses to fight the oppressive government that exploits the poor to fuel their expensive habits. Ena herself grew on me and by the end I really liked her. She was stubborn and forced men to listen to her, which was a nice change from how some MCs are. I
