Eli is a teacher and a man who sees reality and knows that bad times are destined to hit. When they do, he is prepared with a cabin far off the beaten path. His students and then his wife join him as times change and become a struggle of survival of the fittest. These is the first book I have read by the author. I loved it and was pleased to see she has authored about thirty books so I will gladly be able to jump into her other tales.
