I really enjoyed this book! It’s a great blend of suspense, atmospheric tension, and really likable characters. Set in the remote wilderness of Vermont, the story follows Gracelyn and her father on their relentless hunt for the monster.The pacing is pitch-perfect, and Choquette’s vivid descriptions of the mountain setting made me feel like I was right there, immersed in the misty forests and eerie surroundings.
