Description

Dorothy is about to go medieval!

After living a long, fruitful life on her Kansas farm, Dorothy discovers that her 'dear, devoted' family is about to put her into a home. Devastated, she looks to the one place she knows will welcome her with loving arms, and allow her to comfortably live out her remaining days: Oz, that glorious, beautiful land.

Her magical shoes transport her back, but she doesn't find the land of her fond remembrance. Although returned as a 20-year-old, not all goes well. She discovers, with horror, that Scarecrow has become a Wicked Wizard, an evil tyrant who has conquered the lands of Oz in her name, leaving her reviled, her name a curse.

Declaring that 'this will not stand', Dorothy prepares to right the wrongs done in her name. As far as she's concerned, Scarecrow better start trembling in fear like the Cowardly Lion of old, because she has returned to Oz with a Vengeance, and now she's Off to Kill the Wizard.

This is a 60,000 word fantasy romp in a very adult Portal Fantasy filled with warriors, shifters, and witches galore.

About the Author: Warren Thomas is an IT professional by day, and a dreamer by night. While serving a tour of duty with the Army in Germany, he found himself in daily contact with castles, cathedrals, and city walls. His imagination erupted, and he's been writing fantasy adventures ever since.

Reader Reviews

★★★Diarmuid O'Sullivan

Interesting, but weak writingThis book is full of action and sex scenes. Some of them are imaginative. The characters are consistent and the world building is handled well. However, it is all written at about a third grade reading level. It is about on par with a Goosebumps book for depth of prose. This was extremely detrimental for me, but if you're okay with that then you might enjoy this book.

★★★★★Chance

A childhood changed foe VereI enjoy a good twist on classics And I have to say I was drawn in by the narrative you created. Do it was when I finished I relished I’ll never be able to watch the wizard of oz the same aging so shame on me.

★★★★★S.J.Hull

Great fun tale, Dorothy certainly knows how to go for it.
