One of the most intensive and engaging read by hourly history. I literally finished it in one sitting because it was so engaging. I like that it remained unbiased throughout. Saddam Hussein is one of the most controversial characters of modern history. It wasnt an easy task to outline the events associated with his timeline within few pages. The inherent complexity and change of events is expressed very coherently in this read.
I give it 5 stars because it was precisely what I expected from it. A concise and thorough biography of the man, the inspired revolutionair and the cruel dictator that Saddam was. Like all "Hourly History" books I have read it was written in a vivid and fascinating style, so I finished it in a day!
Another matter of fact and unbiased account of a controversial contemporary character. Perhaps only hourly history can pack so much in so few pages about someone who took on the west but ended up paying a heavy price.
