***5 STARS***Sebastian and Chloe are now one of my favorite couples.Sebastian and Chloe have known each other since they were in high school. They definitely do not have a conventional relationship, but the love that the hero has for the heroine was so powerful and not often expressed in romance books. It went beyond the superficial and physical (although the physical passion between the two was amazing). It was their definition of true love. Talk about angst. This book wrung me out emotionally.
OK, honestly? This book was a bit weird for me. It was well written, and I did enjoy it enough that I am going to rate it 4-Stars. However, it felt like an incomplete story. Almost like the entire point of the book was maybe just to give us some insight into Carter from the Merciless series. Which would have been fine if Chloe's and Sebastian's story had been more fleshed out. I felt like I was missing huge chunks of their history, which made it hard for me to connect with them as a couple. On
