"The Moonshadow Effect by Robert de Casares is a superb story. While the author contends that it is all fiction, there are so many uncanny similarities to world events, past and present, to keep the reader intrigued. Robert uses the Scribal poisoning in 2018, Brexit, the 2014 Ukraine uprising, Trumpβs romance with Twitter, and many more true events to weave his thrilling tale. I was many times awed by his insightful analysis of international politics. I will not be surprised if his book turns out to be prophetic.β OnlineBookClub.org Official Review 2022: sea levels are rising and the USA and Russia are locked in a battle for unlimited, unrestricted power. A very well written, fast paced futuristic political spy thriller that takes you through many twists and turns and makes you think about the future... I quite agree with the onlinebookclub.org reviewer. It might even be prophetic. The novel ends a bit abruptly; however, this may hint at the forthcoming continuation of Max Dacre story.
SummaryIn the midst of a calamity that flooded the lowlands of North Holland, evacuating the place was not only Max Dacreβs concern when a drone was sent to wipe him out. Fortunately, he survived. As an M16 operative, part of his job was to eliminate people that pose a threat to The Organisation, aka The Lab. But it seemed that he was the one facing termination. Instead of rescuing him when he was trapped due to the raging sea that broke through the dykes that night, his life was threatened. Why
You will not put it downThis is fiction, written in 2918 but includes enough facts that have happened to blur the line between fact and fiction how much of it is real? The story lines make for a very compelling read. It truly us difficult to put down. I read it in one sitting I highly recommend the book. Would I give it as a gift? Absolutely
