2.5 stars. Numerous errors in formatting, almost seemed like it wasn't proof-read. I love Alydia Rackham, and this book didn't seem up to her usual standard. The story seemed to lose steam in the 3rd quarter and there were some loose ends that were never tied up. Maybe they are addressed in the second book but i still think it's odd that they weren't touched on in the first, because it ended like a stand-alone. I also found that I couldn't relate to the FMC at all. I get that she went through a

Lots of PotentialI downloaded a sample of this book and then decided to read the rest simply because I enjoyed the author's voice in the first pages. Rackham clearly loved her plot and characters, and I enjoy reading stories written by enthusiastic authors.
