Description

A secret lies underneath the dark, still waters of the bayou in southern Louisiana. The sleepy town of Boudreaux wants to keep it there. Kate has other plans.

After the team accepts a plea for help from a desperate mother who refuses to give up searching for her missing daughter, they leave the protection of their Miami sanctuary and head deep into unfamiliar territory. As soon as they arrive in the town that time forgot, they realize there are more things in the swamps trying to kill them than help them.

To hunt down a predator, you have to think like one. To make their punishment fit the crime, you have to become one.

Another home run !To give this author only five stars seems like a travesty. The character development as well as the storyline are almost perfectly fine...I own several off his books and will be shopping for the remainder.. .

I just finished Suffer II and while i write this review because it is still fresh in my mind, I know it will remain in my memories for a long time. E.E. Borton is one hell of a writer. Great book!I was almost put off by the cover of this book, but, the reviews were so good, I decided to take a chance on it. (Never judge a book, etc.) An interesting novel. Well written, with minimal errors. It engages you from the start. Twisting and turning with an engaging plot and believable characters. Lots of local color. Set in the bayou country of Louisiana a murder mystery with just the right amount of murder and mayhem.
