I received this book free through Goodreads First Reads.It is a cute book and an easy read. Its a good read for kids in middle school. The way parts of the book was written made the main character feel like she was a 5th/6th grader instead of a 8th/9th grader.

This was such a cute book...I loved the middle grade coming of age, friendships, first crushed and learning who you are all rolled in one..this was a giveaway I won and would like to Thank Laurel Veil the author for making me laugh and smile as I remembered my 8th grade summer which may had involved 12 Myrtle Beach policeman standing on a walkway waiting for me and my bff to come back from a walk with two boys..We say thank you for caring..Best Summer ever..Recommend to all who want to read a fu
