An entertaining YA novel. Unfortunately, it’s full of plot holes and a complete lack of logic. Then again, it’s a children’s book, so what does it matter that the children talk loudly when they are in danger of being discovered?I won’t be buying more books in this series. 3 1/2 stars. Fun mystery story for kids set in 1950's Britain. It's simple stuff, but I think that's part of the fun. Just a good old fashioned adventure and kids being heroes without annoying adults (i.e. parents) getting in the way. I thought the girls missed out a little in the story, but the boys are older, and perhaps that's why they shone a little more in the story.
