Truly, amazingly, delightful. Both the whimsical illustrations and the intriguingly unexpected text accompaniment make for a precious and very readable picture book. Rock on, Mr. Cosmo, rock on.
This is not what you would call an academic work on monsters. Instead, it's an incredibly funny, delightful book to read with only one problem.There is one monster per letter of the alphabet. A whimsical description accompanies an illustration of the monster and the illustrations have some of the absolute cutest monsters I've ever seen anywhere. The color of the page helps the illustration also.Some of the names of the monsters include Aarghmouth, Brusselsnatch and Kitty Klat. Even the names are

The monsters while very detailed are not gruesome enough to be scary to her.
