Description

A whimsical rhyming tale about acceptance, friendship, and the joy of belonging.Somewhere near a quiet pond, a cosy café called Friendly’s welcomes anyone who walks, hops, or flies through its doors. Its chef, a cat named Rags, prefers stirring soups to chasing mice, and believes that every guest deserves a seat at the table. But when a rule-abiding inspector arrives with a strong opinion on who belongs where, the peace of the loving community is put to the test. What follows is a swirl of commotion, confusion, and, in the end, a heartwarming lesson that kindness matters most.• Engaging Read-Aloud Fun: Playful rhymes that make storytime lively and cozy.• Social-Emotional Learning: Helps children explore empathy, respect, and resolving differences.• Lasting Takeaway: Shows kids that being kind is more important than being right.Beautifully illustrated. Perfect for curious minds and kind hearts ages 4-10.

Nice message here, it’s not just about friendship, but also about learning to admit when you’re wrong so that friendship can grow. The story is warm and meaningful, and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful! Every little detail, like the animals and the scenery, is drawn with so much care. You’ll want to look at it over and over.

I read this book to my 8-year-old nephew, and honestly, I enjoyed it just as much as he did! The rhymes are so funny, and the illustrations are absolutely delightful, bright, warm, and full of charm :)

Easy to read poetry for children, but (!) not as simple as that :)Somewhat political, yet very accessible story about community with a happy end.Makes kids laugh, maybe because I read it by roles and in funny voices ha! Funny illustrations are of course a big plus.It is a kind book with a good moral to it.
