Something about this book really touches you. Ryder, the grumpy mountain man, and Evie, to sophisticated heiress just fit together from the first time they meet. Who knew they had so much in common? And that they were so incredibly sexy together. Ryder’s past clashes completely with Evie’s present. That’s what makes this story so fascinating. You will fall in love with both characters and root for them throughout the book. And I can’t wait to read about he next Hale brother in the next book.

Staying true, with youI'm a sucker for a romance where one or both MCs just fight for what they want even though they're terrified. Evie is strong, beautiful, and have a big heart. She not only goes after she wants but she fights and proves herself in all aspects. And the MMC? Damn.. I could just imagine what he would be like irl. Strong, capable, wants to love hard but also doesn't believe he deserves it in return. I loved how this story played out. The gestures of showing someone you see them,

All the feelsI really loved the writing of this book. I had to pause my reading because I didn't want Ryder and Evie's story to end. The spice level was on point, it was the perfect balance for their story. It was a good angsty romance. I can't wait for the next one!
