Clown Car - Duncan RalstonI really like the idea of clowns and phobias and stories with things or tropes that most people are just afraid of. I also really like the idea of the main character and being a pharmaceutical rep with the hallucinations and everything. I think it really plays into the unreliable narrator trope, which I really enjoy. In fact i was able to finish it while I was cooking. This is definitely somthing that could happen in real life.... to an extent. You know the deal , free book means review. I actually am speechless LOL like this book was so short but just maybe almost impacted me harder than any long book i’ve read? and why? Because god I didn’t know what to expect going into this at all…it was 1. funny 2. surprising 3. loud and clear message that we’re all clowns 😂 anyways, first book by this author probably won’t be the last that was a nice little ride.
