It is a strange story but somehow the words just flow and keeps me engaged in reading. I enjoy the writing style and plot of this book. With the cliffhanger at the end, I canβt wait to continue the story in book two.
I enjoyed the story, it was real, gritty, and tense, but what I enjoyed most was the invitation into another's culture and views in a way that was understandable and relatable. It made the story interesting but also human, and, in a strange way, it enhanced the suspense of the tale as you build up a shared rising fear as the book progresses. This was an excellent read.
