Attraverso i suoi romanzi, la Austen ci parla dell'aristocrazia inglese di inizio '800, una realtà decisamente lontana, e non solo in ottica temporale, dalla nostra. E non è difficile scorgervi una punta di ironia, soprattutto nel modo, quasi "esagerato", di descrivere il trasporto emotivo dei personaggi nelle varie relazioni amorose e non.Ragione e Sentimento ****Orgoglio e Pregiudizio ****Mansfield Park ***Emma*** all'inizio ammetto che non mi ha preso molto, ma poi è andato solo a migliorare!
