Reader Reviews

★★★★Marvera Murphy

Great Read! All the characters in the Alvarez series are interesting and well rounded. Even the cats are interesting! The clues keep you guessing. Loyalty to family and friends is an over-riding value in all the books. No swearing or seamy sex. Is Gurn too good to be true? Does Lee have any friends who don’t get in trouble? BTW, the books seem well researched.

★★★★★Nancy Whitford

Lots of books in one set. Each better than the last!Seven books in set, all mysteries with a touch of clean love. Each a separate case and lots of intrigue, never a dull moment with the owners of DI. A business that has lots of people to investigate Silicon Valley crimes but frequently crimes involving friends. ENJOY them all!

★★★Watergirl

Not a cozy mystery as I initially thought but still good reading. Ever notice that cozy mystery characters do not age? At the start of the series, Lee was 34. More than two years passed and she was still 34. Backstories also change slightly. It is problem when reading the books one after the next. Inconsistencies become glaring. Despite the above, would love to revisit this world.
