Kindle Unlimited read. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and it's host of characters and I am looking forward to the next in the series. There is some emotional angst, but it is played out realistically. The couple actually end up communicating well despite a few bumps, which those still felt relatable to me and not drama for the sake of it. One of our couple also seeks therapy for her issues. I appreciate a book that doesn't just think love automatically equals a perfect relationship. I felt like
My friend lent me this book and to be honest.. I didnβt really like it. The characters arenβt necessarily bad characters but theyβre written in such a simple way that you donβt really get a grasp of them. It's hard to get into a book when you just don't like / can't connect with the MC (Laura). She just didn't rock my boat and I didn't trust her. The other MC (Dylan) was a star so I had to double blink to see the two together. Sad, really.
