In 2011 I commenced my nurse training, whilst looking after my terminally ill brother Micheal. As a student nurse, I cared for patients with a range of conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer. Through my journey as a student nurse, I strived to provide the best care for my patients, whilst also making sure my brother achieved all he wanted in his final days. When my brother passed away, I had to make the ultimate decision, to continue as a student nurse, or to achieve my acting dream. It was then that I discovered letters my brother had written before he passed away, which helped to shape my future path.
Command of the English language doesn't seem to be a skill needed in nursingWasn't that sure about the format of the book, as it didn't appear to flow, appalling grammar, and spelling mistakes often made it hard to decipher what he was saying. At one point his sister's name changed three times in as many pages. Not saying he didn't have a story to tell, but if I had handed written work like that over too my old English teacher, she would of crossed it all out with red pen, or ripped it up, and t
This was a lovely read, peeking into the hectic, mentally draining life of a student nurse, alongside a heartbreaking loss at home, the tenacity of the author is to be commended. It certainly gave me a different perspective, looking at care from a nurses point of view rather than as a patient. The book needs to be proof read again as there are some grammar and spelling errors but aside from that it was a lovely read 🙃
Great book !Great book just wish it was longer. Few spelling mistakes though. I do recommend .to others. Please do another book!
