I'm going to say that I am a fan of the original Vampire for Hire series by JR Rain. I realize different authors have a different flavor. That being said, I still felt that this author's dialogue seemed very awkward to me. Some of the things said just didn't even make sense and I had to reread them again. Also, the entire book led up to the big showdown with no thrills before then, just the setting up for the big event. It was a bit boring actually. Typically there are a few smaller action scene

Anthony Moon is okI don’t think that HT Night did Anthony justice. Definitely needs more character development and rounding out. There is a critical piece of the story, the amulet, which has no reason to exist other than a prop. And for all its importance is forgotten about entirely after it gives him a clue.
